Dear Friends and Family,
You are all at this site because of your love for Glenda. During this stage of her fight we are all anxious for news of how she is doing. We have set up this blog to keep everyone informed of her well-being.
On 4 February, we met with Glenda's doctor at Thompson Oncology Center and received the results of her latest scan. The news was not positive. The cancer has not been stopped in the past few months and has spread. In response, Glenda has chosen to fight. On Friday, 8 February, Glenda began a new treatment, Camptosar and 5-FU/LV. This treatment has some major side-effects and we will wait to see her progress.
This blog is designed to let everyone know how Glenda progresses under this new treatment. We, however, know that it is not the treatment itself that will heal her but it is only the Great Physician who has this power to heal. All of your prayers have been so important over the past 17 months and prayer is now more important than ever. At this time, that is all that we need: prayer! If she is feeling well, she would love to see or talk to everyone. Please feel free to call and send cards.
