Wednesday's Doctor Report

Mom rested well last night. They are giving her a small dose of medicine to help her sleep and that is helping her to regain her strength. After she held court at her bedside all day Monday and she talked with the doctor, they decided to run blood tests and check all her vital signs. She had a strong pulse, a low temperature, and blood pressure of 110/72. They have increased her fluids, added antibiotics and potassium. The doctor told us last night that of 100 patients who came to the ER and presented with her symptons, 99 would not have made it 24 hours - She is that 1 in 100!!! This morning they are clamping off the stomach tube to see if her body will beginning working again without aid.

She has always believed she would be healed, she would be God's miracle. Please pray she gets her miracle, that we all do.

Stefanie
I am very happy to hear such great news and i will let mom know as well. My mom got the same prognosis, I think maybe even a little worse b/c she had the pneumonia as well, but look how far she has come. I have all the faith in the world that Glenda will pull through. I have a not for Glenda and little book called God Creative Power of Healing. It helped sustain each of us during mom's health trials and i believe it will do that for you as well. I will get it to you this week. Love you guys,

The Hiwassee College community prayed for Glenda's speedy recovery today in chapel. Please tell Glenda that our love is a strength upon which she can draw and to keep up the good fight. Our Lord's Blessings upon you and your family.
