Thursday Night

You know my mother is still in control when she tells her children to go to bed. Night before last she told Alex to go to bed and pointed to where he was supposed to sleep and today she sent me upstairs to rest. She is so alert and aware that it is difficult for her to understand why her body is suddenly not working for her the way she expects it to work. Unfortunately they were unable to leave the NG tube turned off so she is still uncomfortable with the tube down her throat. Please pray that her spirit will remain uplifted. As we move into the second week here at Blount Memorial, it is amazing that she has surpassed all the professionals expectations. For us that know her and her faith, we know that it is God alone!
