We are pushing forward in the healing process!! The NG tube has been turned off since this morning (this means it is not suctioning her stomach and her stomach is beginning to work again). They will leave the suction off as long as she can tolerate it. She has been able to drink some juices today and has eaten chicken broth for lunch and dinner. She has sat in the chair twice today and sat on the side of the bed tonight. Not only has the NG tube been turned off, but her pain medication was reduced by more than half and she has not experienced any pain.
In all these things may to God be the Glory! Please continue to pray that the NG tube will be removed soon and that Mom begins to regain her strength.
